An Asscher cut diamond: a square step cut with clipped corners and a hall-of-mirrors look, loved since the 1920s. It sits in slim claws on a barely-there 1.25 mm band, so the stone seems to float on the hand. The band has a rounded comfort fit and sits flush against a wedding band. Available in 14K or 18K yellow, white or rose gold, with a natural or lab-grown centre diamond chosen with you.
