Buying a piece
Can I buy jewellery online?
No. Every piece on this site is in our showroom at Central City. Call us at (604) 581-1132 and we’ll check a piece is in before you come.
Do you sell lab-grown diamonds?
Yes. We carry natural and lab-grown diamonds, and our gemologist can show you both under the loupe.
Which gold do you use?
Most pieces are 14K gold. For a custom design you can choose 10K, 14K or 18K in yellow, white or rose.
Repairs & cleaning
Do you repair jewellery in store?
Wherever possible, yes: broken clasps and chains, loose stones, ring resizing and restorations.
Can you resize my ring?
Yes. Bring it in and we’ll measure your finger and tell you what’s possible for that ring.
How long does a repair take?
It depends on the repair. We’ll give you a time when you bring the piece in.
Do you clean jewellery?
Yes, we offer professional cleaning and polishing.
Appraisals
Who does the appraisals?
Our in-house gemologist (G.I.A., C.J.I.) gives each piece a detailed, documented valuation.
Can I get an appraisal for insurance?
Yes. You receive an appraisal certificate for insurance or resale, and we can help with insurance claims.
Watches
Do you replace watch batteries?
Yes. We also adjust straps and bracelets, and handle repairs through to complete overhauls.
Which watch brands do you carry?
Movado, Bulova, Caravelle and Casio, including G-Shock.
Custom design
How does a custom design work?
Talk it through with us, choose your stones and metal, and once you’re happy with the design and quote, your piece is made to order. Then come in to try it on. See how custom design works.
Is the quote free?
Yes. Quotes for custom designs are free.
Can you remake an old piece or heirloom?
Yes. Bring it in with any photos or ideas, and we’ll talk through what it could become.
